What GoFilm is

GoFilm shows what's on at cinemas across the UK and Ireland, from the big chains to the smallest independents, in one place. There are two ways to use it:

Questions

Where do the listings come from?

We collect them from public sources, mainly the cinemas' own websites and booking systems, and refresh them twice a day. Each film is matched to its entry in The Movie Database (TMDB) for posters, runtimes and other details. The foot of every page shows when the listings were last updated.

A time or a detail is wrong. What should I do?

Cinemas change their programmes, sometimes at short notice, so please check with the cinema before you travel. If something on GoFilm looks wrong, or a cinema is missing, tell us at feedback@gofilm.uk.

Can I book tickets on GoFilm?

No. GoFilm doesn't sell tickets or take payments. A time links to the cinema's own booking page, where you book with the cinema on its terms. Prices and seat availability are on the cinema's site.

Do I need an account?

No. The website has no accounts at all. In the app you can use everything as a guest; signing in, with Apple or by email, keeps your watchlist, saved cinemas and alerts across devices. None of it is required.

Does "Find cinemas near me" send my location?

No. The page works out the nearest cinemas on your device; your location isn't sent to us or stored. A postcode you type is used the same way.

How do I delete my data?

The website holds nothing that identifies you. In the app, the Account screen has Download my data and Delete account; deleting removes your account and everything linked to it straight away. Guest accounts that haven't been used for 6 months are deleted automatically. For anything else, email privacy@gofilm.uk. The privacy notice has the details.
